It has been a while since amaana.com has come to the Pakistani Market. However its adoption has been slow on the internet within Pakistani market. One of the reasons has been non-availability of ready to use addons for popular Open Source shopping carts.



Amaana allows individuals and businesses to transact money on the internet via Text Messaging on Mobile Phones.  With this problem in mind i have written a Amaana's Payment module for a popular Open Source shopping system OSCommerce.

This will enable anyone in Pakistan to deploy OSCommerce and plug it in with Amaana.

A five-month old lion cub brought a First Offense Report (FOR) upon its owner Asim Siddiqi, a resident of PECHS, after it escaped from the house and was found running around on Allama Iqbal Road.

The residents of the area started shouting in shock when they say the cub and hundreds started to gather but the animal ran from them. It entered a showroom where it was rescued by the police and municipal services team, said Wildlife Inspector Rasheed Ahmed Khan. “I am sure the owner has an official license,” Khan said, adding that he was not authorised to make a statement.
