PESHAWAR, DEC 21. Expressing deep concern over the ongoing injustice with candidates were already short listed in different cadres of education sector in district Nowshera, demanded of the government to immediate induct them.

Speaking at a news conference at press club here on Monday, Shah Nawaz, an affected candidate said that in 2007 the EDO education Nowshera had advertised the different posts for teaching staff, but later on the EDO had been transferred by replacing Gul Zaman.

He added that the candidates had appeared in the test and interview, and they were in short listed in the merit lists, which had been considered time bouted by the new EDO education and could not fulfill already advertised positions.

  However, Shah Nawaz said he (EDO) had also been transferred and appointed Anhanuddin as in-charge EDO, who revived the merit lists, but immediately he was replaced by induction of Hasnat Gul on the stated position.

Presently, he said that the incumbent EDO education had failed to finalize the appointments, in which male and female trained teachers also deprived. He maintained that most of the affected qualified teachers were looking for their appointments on the stated positions.

He regretted that teachers in other districts in such cadres were appointed in 2006, but unfortunately they had been deprived for genuine right, adding that due to delaying tactics most of the candidates became overage.

Accompanied by other candidates, Nawaz further said that they had complained the concerned authorities by sending reminders and the press statements, but it turned deaf ears on lasting demand of teachers.  

He said despite the elected representatives and provincial ministers from district Nowshera did not pay any attention to heel their miseries and resolve the issue.

He informed that the appointments of Class I to IV on the post Maali and peon were made in their respective constituencies. They, therefore, demanded of the government and Minister of Education to resolve their problem by issuing notification and not to compel them to hold protest demonstration.
