The kid who said no!

Samad Khurram

Samad Khurram,  A student at Harvard Business School refused an award from the US Ambassador to Pakistan, Anne Patterson in protest of US policies against the people of Pakistan. In doing so he made a very big statement.

The very same day the President of Pakistan had another statement to make. Both of these photos are extracted from the express news, news paper, karachi.

America can tighten Pakistan

The statement made by President Musharaf basically says America can tighten the screw on people of Pakistan.

If nothing else, it shows that the people of Pakistan and Musharaf have 100% divergent views. Our leaders have been scared from day one of an impending American attack that would wipe us into stone age.

May be they have not looked at nations like Iran, Nort Korea, Cuba which have more serious problems then us in regard to their relationship with America.

No body wants to be an isolated state but no one likes to be bum licking state as well.

The state of Pakistan has in all its essece has become aubjugated nation. Subjugated to the ideals of American Imperialism.

Some might question Samad's wisdom, as it might have opened more doors for him had he said yes and taken the award. However his lone action shows that people are sick with this metal subjugation which is very well relfected in the Musharaf's statement.

Pakistan is a nation of 160 million that needs to rise up like Samad Khurram.

And in the end i'll like to say Bravo Samad.
