10 years back this locality was considered the other side of the town. Every thing beyond Hassan square was for the low income group . But that has all changed now.  University road is now the prime commercial estate. Fortunes of many have changed as progress as hit them at break neck speed.

The new devleopments have sky rocketed the property prices in this area and made alot o property owners reasonably rich.
