Recently our beloved leaders like Ahsan Iqbal, (PML-Ns Information person) bravely quoted how the ranking of Nawaz Sharif has risen and gave the sampling survery of IRI. Then just yesterday all the News channels were screaming about Sheri Rahman who is Minister of state for Information and Health as being delacred Hero of Democracy by IRI.

What is IRI? IRI stands for International Republican Institute

IRI is an organization that is funded in part by National Endowment for Democracy of USA or NED

NED basically injects soft money in forigen countries thorough organizations like IRI in favour of one party or another in order to swing vote in direction of US policy.

However our leaders are only glad that their names poped up in some quasi government bodys report.
