It will be interesting to note if General Pervez Kayani, commander of Pakistan armed forces, will attend the grave and mosulem of Benazir Bhutto.

Zardari the Supreme Commander and President of Pakistan will be there. However it remains to be seem if the military elite and establishment will be there or not.

General Kayani failed to show up in Ghari Khudabuksh to condole the president on the death anniversary of his wife who was and is the most popular leader of Pakistan after Zufiqar Ali Bhutto.

It "seems" the military has failed show that it is subservient to civilian democratically elected government. I hope i am wrong. Dictatorship and its habits have only cultivated a crop of failure, revenge, distrust among the people of this country.

His simple appeareance would have given a renewed spirit to the people, however new doubts must have been sowed now and old wounds opened.

I just hope this cycle of distrust changes for a while.
